I suppose you can los axe 2, and you can try to stay out of range in reaper shroud. There's really not much dodging is going to do when they have so many things that need to be dodged. now I'm out of dodges and I still have axe 2 with quickness or shroud 4 spin to win to deal with, not to mention shroud 5 for a long stun. Their big skills are telegraphed and easily dodged or kited, and you mostly stay out of melee range when they go into shroud. Using the other professions out there I’ve never really feared facing a reaper (save for those boon centric builds where I’m on alert to be corrupted). And aside from the reaper 3 skill, you get tossed around like trash in the street. It’s mass dps, but you have to make sure you are always doing something to earn your shroud. But it reaper feels pretty balanced to me. See & no matter he has 5% or 100% arp it's not a physical attack to begin with.Now to be fair, I’ve only played a couple hundred games w necro (core and reaper, never scourge actually, because I had already moved on), so lemme preface w that. you will get the same results (cross your finger to have the same number of necrosis attacks) (thanks for bringing this up I'll continue further investigations in this matter) and well as you see Necrosis falls under Physical which means it's affected by Armor not shadow resistance! you can check this by attacking a player while he uses flawless fang and than again without. you can check the 6 schools of magicĪrcane-Fire-Frost-Nature-Shadow-Holy & physical. The damage is shadow that's true but goes towards physical. damage actually counts as a physical attack not magical, all my runs have been pugs and I've beat them all! but just so you know none of them were competent so I'll wait to answer that when I raid with my competitive guild mates :D However since the auto attack dmg gets increased by arp it also indirectly increase the necrosis dmg.I still haven't joined my guild in Deathwing waiting for them to enable realm transfer.
